The culture of Bangladesh screams togetherness. In my project, I wanted to go back into the history of the nation and the key components of it's culture (language, behavior, belief, and values). Why is the nation they way it is? That is the question I wanted to ask myself. The thinking skill for this project is contextualization. For my project, I looked into the context of the young country and what has influenced the culture as it stands.
Space Exploration is not only beautiful and eye opening, it is also very controversial. Countries like India budget a large percent towards funding their space exploration programs even though there are many issues and other places they could put that money towards. For this project, the thinking skill was perspective. I analyzed both perspectives of those who work towards and admire space exploration, and the citizens of India who suffer from pollution, and lack of education.

What is the staircase to heaven? What does it mean? In this project I took the idea of a metaphorical staircase to heaven and elaborated on it, creating what I would think each step would mean and adding a personal element of my stories to give examples of what I thought it would take to 'get' to heaven. The thinking skill for this project is reasoning, and I used that to share a deeper understanding of why and what I believed each step meant.

Vulnerability is something we cannot expect from everyone. For my final project in Apollo, I wanted to get as raw and stripped down as I possibly could. I thought to share out and open up about sexual assault, more specifically sex trafficking. I wanted to layer on and speak out about the lack of attention sex trafficking gets and why it is important for that to stop. In regards to synthesis, I curated in every project, a piece that blended more than one idea.
